Industry first! Digital cone penetrometer using load cells.

■ The penetration operator can read numerical values. Since the display and operation panel is located on the top surface of the load cell, the operator can read the values. The display uses an LCD panel, allowing values to be read even in direct sunlight. ■ Strong against uneven loading. By adopting a structure that does not allow for uneven loading, it is now possible to measure accurately without the need for both hands to apply force evenly, which would otherwise cause uneven loading. ■ Improved durability. With a maximum load of 1,000N, the use of durable load cells with a permissible weight of 200% and a limit load of 300% results in a structure that is strong against shocks and overloads. ■ Waterproof performance. It has a waterproof rating equivalent to IP64.

It can hold measurement values. It can select three modes with one device. It is a digital cone penetrometer using a load cell.

- The penetration operator can read the values alone. The values are displayed on the operation panel on the top of the load cell, allowing the penetration operator to read the values and set zero by themselves. - Equipped with a sample hold function. During the penetration test, simply pressing the hold button instantly retains the display of the load value, enabling easy and accurate measurement. - Switch between three modes with one device. The load mode and cone index mode (large and small) can be easily selected on the operation panel. - Strong against uneven loading. Traditional force gauges required even force to be applied with both hands to avoid uneven loading, which could lead to inaccurate measurements. However, this product adopts a structure that prevents uneven loading, allowing for more accurate measurements. - Easy to handle on-site. It uses a durable load cell and has a structure that is resistant to shock and overload. It has waterproof performance equivalent to IP64, allowing penetration tests even in light rain. The testing device is compact and assembled, making it convenient to carry.

With a digital display, measurements can be taken easily and accurately without individual reading errors.

The KS-221 uses a load cell to measure penetration load, and the penetration load value can be read on a digital display. Therefore, there is no need for calculations based on calibration values, and measurement accuracy is sufficiently secured at ±1%. Additionally, with conventional analog load gauges, accurate measurements were difficult due to the needle's jumping and swaying on the dial gauge, but this product can be easily and accurately measured without individual reading errors, as it only requires reading the digital display.
